msb is objectively better even not imbued, but i still use rcb because the cost of rune arrows lost on the ground is over 150k/hour if you're buying them. while theoretically i can cover that cost, it just isn't at all proportional to the upgrade in dps. Msb for enemies with low defense. Rcb for everything else.

That said, bowfa is the fucking truth. The grind is much more considerable on average though and a lot harder than Zulrah, so it's worth getting raid prayers if you can stomach using a crossbow or blowpipe there still for a little while. Crystal Bow + Armour for around 800 kills at Hydra averaged around 2:15-30 kills. (97-99 Range w/ Eagle Eye). Used it as a range switch for Zulrah and it felt better than Msb (i) w/ Rune arrows and RCB w/ Runite Bolts. Also did pretty decently during Olms Head phase, but was terrible at Vassa and Inaccurate at Ice Demon.

If you are only after money there is no reason to do zulrah compared to muspah with bowfa only. If you’re doing zulrah for fun, bowfa only works fine. its very good, though u might want a higher range lvl. can do some slayer with venator bow, it slaps everything in the catacombs. This is a difficult and punishing boss to learn, especially if you're doing it without access to a trident or other important pieces of gear. I would generally try just 2 attempts per day or so, and found myself improving quickly. Honestly having a bowfa to start makes a huge difference. The boss is pretty simple when you don't have to gear switch between phases. When you're learning the Runelite Zulrah Helper plugin is also really helpful. After a while you'll be good enough that you won't need itthralls for efficiency, venge for fun. Thralls are better at Zulrah even without accounting for the Snakelings potentially wasting Vengeance. assuming thralls are more consistant despite them having to chase zulrah around, veng is probably better if your going to PB times, probably both if you want to do spellbook swap.
