Edit: If for some reason you absolutely must use the Mob Duplicator, it does appear you can remove it from the blacklist. Open the instance folder > config > open 'industrialforegoing.cfg' > find the line 'mob_duplicator' . Under that heading you can remove 'iceandfire:firedragon' and/or 'iceandfire:icedragon' .

Found a pyramid and it had one but otherwise just regular mobs are spawning. Mine down the pyramid, put down interdiction pylons, with filters for other mobs. Open up the pyramid. Mine through the bottom sides. There's 2 "rooms" (void space in the structure) where they can also spawn.

I tried the industrial foregoing mob duplicator and it won't work, same for rftools spawner. My current idea is to go dig up the pyramid and build some sort of vanilla mob farm with water pushing them to a central position where I could use a mob crusher to kill them. But this seems like a lot of effort znd I'd have to afk there which isn't great.

The IF duplicator dies not have this feature. What you are referring to is the Wand of Animation I believe. It allows you to make a block of let's say gold then animate it, looks like a crab it spider.
