Hello lovely people! I recently spend half of my net worth on a mage setup for dungeons, but I'm still dying in F7. I'm aware I need to star my gear a bit more. Am I doing something wrong? Even if he did do mage, necro lord + wise drag would also work (probably just a bit less mana) Yes mage is squishy, but you don't need goldor to survive as mage (you don't really need wither armors to survive as mage in normal dungeons.you need higher cata lvl, more stars on ur armor, like atleast 4 star, also swap the storm cp for a necrolord/highest tier perfect chestplate until ur like cata 27. or put the giant reforge on ur storm so you can survive. or just get goblin armor and a wither cloak sword and cheese if that still worksMage is useless in F7 without Hyperion. The whole point of mage is to clear rooms fast, and spirit sceptre Nons will clear a room 10x slower than a hype mage. They also do 10x less average damage. Btw I’m pretty sure a 1bil setup will do much better than a 150m setup in crimson isles. Lol it’s not even close

Now, we move onto the class-specific items. All of these items should preferably be 5-Starred, Recombobulated, HPB'd, and enchanted. Archer. Honestly, mage isn't great in f7 (especially as cata 30) w/o hyperion. I played bers until about cata 32 then switched to mage when I could afford a hyperion. I assume you're having trouble finding decent parties as a mage w/o hyperion whereas archer with bones (or even melee tank/bers/healer) might still get you into parties.Jan 5, 2021. #12. For f5 you probably need a higher catacombs level. Ideally, 20 should be enough. As for the setup, I recommend using 2/4 necromancer lord, shadow goggles, and superheavy chestplate or perfect chestplate.
