The reason I went with the CPX-2 was because it has no external/manual safety to disengage. The supposed "Newly designed" CPX-1 has fixed the safety problem by a guard molded into the frame. The main difference between the Sccy CPX-3 and CPX-4 models is the caliber they fire. The CPX-3 is chambered in .380 ACP, while the CPX-4 is chambered in .32 ACP. Additionally, the CPX-4 features a manual thumb safety, which the CPX-3 lacks.
