My problem is with an unloaded magazine in the gun if I pull the slide all the way to open locked position I can't close slide. It won't release by pushing the slide stop lever or pulling back a little more on the slide and releasing.

During my brief ownership, I've experienced around 40-50 FTFs. At my latest range visit, I shot 150 rounds using 115 gr. Magtech FMJ, 124 gr. Sig Elite Ammo FMJ, and 124 +p Federal HST.

I've seen a few things about replacing the stock guide rod with steel or tungsten to reduce recoil a bit. I had problems with my 43X when I first got it.
